Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of IslandOrder (“IslandOrder”, “we”, “us” or “our”). By using the platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

1. What IslandOrder provides

IslandOrder is a discovery and listing platform that helps visitors find local businesses, products, stays, tours and activities. Depending on the listing, visitors may contact a business through WhatsApp or another external service to discuss an order, booking or enquiry.

2. IslandOrder is not usually the seller or service provider

Unless a page expressly says otherwise, each business is independently responsible for its products, services, prices, descriptions, availability, fulfilment, delivery, bookings, cancellations, refunds, warranties, licences and customer service. IslandOrder does not itself supply or guarantee the products or services listed by third-party businesses and is not a party to arrangements made directly between visitors and businesses.

3. Information and availability

Listings are provided for convenience and may be incomplete, out of date or contain errors. Business owners are responsible for keeping their information accurate. Confirm prices, opening hours, stock, location, booking dates, terms and availability directly with the business before making a decision or payment.

4. Visitor responsibilities

• Use the platform lawfully and respectfully.
• Provide accurate information when using forms or contacting support.
• Verify a business and its payment instructions before sending money or sensitive information.
• Do not misuse listings, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with the platform, distribute malicious code or use the platform to mislead, harass or harm others.

5. Business owner responsibilities

Business owners must provide truthful and lawful listing information, maintain accurate contact and location details, have rights to all submitted content, honour commitments they make to customers, comply with applicable laws and promptly update or remove information that is no longer accurate. You must not list prohibited, unlawful, counterfeit, unsafe or misleading products or services.

6. Accounts and security

You are responsible for protecting your login credentials and for activity conducted through your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. We may suspend or restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect the platform, investigate abuse, enforce these Terms or comply with law.

7. Orders, payments, bookings and disputes

Unless expressly stated otherwise, orders, payments and bookings are arranged directly between the visitor and the relevant business, often outside IslandOrder. Confirm the total cost, payment recipient, delivery or service details, cancellation terms and refund policy before proceeding. Disputes about a product, service or booking should first be raised with the business. You may contact IslandOrder support for platform-related issues, but we cannot guarantee a particular outcome in a dispute between independent parties.

8. Content and intellectual property

You retain rights you hold in content you submit. By submitting content for a listing, you grant IslandOrder permission to host, display, reproduce and format that content as reasonably necessary to operate, promote and improve the platform. You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit it. IslandOrder’s platform design, branding and software are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Do not copy or use them except as permitted by law or with our permission.

9. Third-party links and services

The platform may link to third-party websites, maps, messaging or other services. Those services are controlled by their respective providers, and your use of them is subject to their terms and privacy policies. IslandOrder is not responsible for their availability, content or practices.

10. Availability and changes

We may change, suspend or discontinue parts of the platform, update these Terms, or remove content where appropriate. We aim to keep the platform available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

11. Disclaimers and limitation

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the platform is provided on an “as available” basis without a guarantee that listings are accurate, businesses will fulfil an arrangement, or the service will always be uninterrupted. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, IslandOrder is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from third-party listings or arrangements made directly with businesses.

12. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you are responsible for claims arising from your unlawful use of the platform or your breach of these Terms, including content you submit or commitments you make to other users.

13. Suspension and termination

We may restrict or terminate access if we reasonably believe an account is being used unlawfully, poses a security risk, violates these Terms or harms other users or the platform.

14. Applicable law and contact
